Our Client
 

Our Client is a newly launched private investment fund management company, managing an Asian focused global multi-strategy fund. They are seeking an experienced Equity Capital Market Analyst to join their dynamic hedge fund team.

About the Role

​

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity capital markets, a solid foundation in statistics, and the ability to speak fluent Mandarin. Experience at specialized research firms and international exposure are essential.


Job Responsibilities
 

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of equity capital markets, identifying investment opportunities and risks.

  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement investment strategies.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market trends and investment recommendations.

  • Monitor and analyze financial news and market movements to provide timely insights.

  • Support the team in executing trades and managing portfolios.
     

About You
 

  • Minimum of 3 years at equity capital market-specific research firms.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and financial modeling.

  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • International Experience: Must have lived outside of Hong Kong for a significant period to bring a diverse perspective.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Self-motivated with a keen interest in global financial markets.
