Marketing Coordinator

Our client, Meraki Hospitality, is a Hong Kong based hospitality group founded in 2018. They operate two well-known restaurants Uma Nota and Bedu, located in Central and Sheung Wan. They are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to be responsible for the maintenance and development of their marketing efforts, maintain a variety of projects and assist with the marketing initiatives of existing and future brands under the group.

 

About The Role

Located in Sheung Wan, the Marketing Coordinator will work closely with and report to the Managing Director. The role will require strong organizational abilities, out-the-box thinking, good project management as well as a keenness to expand your existing skills.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and execution of marketing programs, campaigns, events and social media initiatives

  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and related parties to ensure events and projects are delivered

  • Maintain and update content of brand websites, social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn Assist with marketing communications, PR projects and joint promotions

  • Provide marketing admin support for the team

  • Coordinate design work of marketing materials

  • Report preparation

  • Input creative ideas when needed

  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Powerpoint, Excel

  • Able to stay organized, multi-task and meet deadlines in a high pressure and short-lead time environment

  • Fluent in English (French, Cantonese/Mandarin is a bonus) Basic design skills are a bonus

 

About You

  • A detail-oriented self-starter with prior hospitality, media, marketing, advertising or project management experience

  • 2-3 years working experience

  • Someone who exhibits sound judgment with the ability to prioritise and make decisions

  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

  • Comfortable interacting with staff of all levels and functions

  • Resourceful, can-do attitude

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Confident in providing creative input and contributing ideas
